Nino Dekanoidze

Ms. Nino Dekanoidze is a highly qualified manager and expert whose professional career is primarily focused on the development and implementation of accreditation systems, institutional standards, and quality assurance mechanisms. She has extensive experience in administering expert evaluation processes, as well as in designing, regulating, and managing governance systems and institutional oversight frameworks. Since 2026 she has served as the General Director of the Healthcare Quality Assessment and Accreditation Council, where she leads the development of healthcare quality standards, defines accreditation criteria, supervises conformity assessment procedures and implements monitoring mechanisms across the healthcare sector. Since 2020 she has also headed the Type A accredited inspection body — LLC Tbilisi Expertise Bureau. In this role she oversees the development of expert evaluation methodologies, ensures evidence-based analytical processes, and strengthens internal quality control systems. Since 2018 Ms. Dekanoidze has been serving as an invited expert at the National Center for Education Quality Enhancement, participating in the accreditation of higher education programs. Her responsibilities include assessing program compliance with accreditation standards, conducting in-depth documentation analysis, and evaluating internal quality assurance mechanisms. From 2013 to 2025 she worked in various government agencies, including the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, where she held both advisory and managerial positions, as well as serving as an invited expert at the Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau. Her academic background combines legal, agricultural, and research disciplines. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law, a Master’s degree in Agricultural Technologies and a Doctorate in Agricultural Sciences.
