Since 2026, Dr. Alexander Gelenidze has served as a Clinical Surveyor at the Healthcare Quality Assessment Accreditation Council, where he oversees clinical governance, patient safety, epidemiology, infection prevention and control, and clinical risk management within the accreditation processes of healthcare organizations.

Since 2017, he has played a pivotal role in the management of the Tbilisi Sea Hospital, boasting 100 patient beds. Serving as the Maintenance Manager, he ensured the smooth functioning, safety, and upkeep of this significant healthcare institution.

Dr. Gelenidze is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in constructing and equipping medical facilities. His career began with the monumental task of delivering six hospitals within a span of 18 months, leaving an indelible mark on various regions of Georgia. In 2012, he assumed the role of the Head of Procurement and Maintenance Department at Geo Hospitals, overseeing the renovation and standardization of several hospitals and polyclinics.
