AACI and HQACI Launch Cooperation in Healthcare Accreditation

Tbilisi — AACI America LLC and Healthcare Quality Assessment and Accreditation Council International (HQACI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at developing joint activities in healthcare organization accreditation and clinical certification.

The agreement focuses on developing accreditation systems based on international standards, improving healthcare service quality, and enhancing patient safety.

The cooperation includes training and capacity building of healthcare professionals, development of educational programs, sharing of international standards and expertise, implementation of joint research and projects, and strengthening the culture of accreditation and quality.

Within the framework of the memorandum, HQACI will participate in the accreditation of European hospitals and will be involved in joint training programs with AACI.

It is noteworthy that HQACI has recently started its operations and has already assessed five clinics in Georgia, with three clinics having already received HQACI accreditation.

The memorandum was signed by Kreso A. Paliska, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AACI, and Nino Dekanoidze, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of HQACI.

According to the parties, this cooperation will contribute to the development of quality management systems in the healthcare sector in Georgia and across the region, and increase alignment with international standards.

The parties plan to launch joint programs in the near future.
